At Connect Psychology, I tailor treatment to your needs: drawing from years of clinical practice, extensive training and lived experience. I work from a place of compassion, using holistic, integrated and evidence-based approaches (such as EMDR). Thus, people who have experienced trauma and suffering, can begin to move toward a place of connectedness.

Individual Psychological Therapy Session Sydney

Connect offers Telehealth (online) therapy Australia-wide and face-to-face or Telehealth sessions for those based in Sydney. You may be eligible for private Health rebates, depending on your provider.


You may also be eligible for government Mental Health Care Plans, with a valid referral from your GP.  For 50 minute sessions, you can then claim a rebate of $92.90 (as of July 2023). Currently, medicare offer 10 rebated sessions per calendar year if eligiable. 


Individual, ongoing appointments start from $250 per session. Initial sessions are $290.

Leigh can support those who have experienced recent trauma, as well as survivors of complex childhood trauma. Yoga Therapy for Stress Relief

Practices like trauma-sensitive yoga help us to develop strategies for calming our minds and regulating our physiological responses. We learn to recognise and tolerate physical sensations (like discomfort) and move toward a feeling of safety inside our bodies. In general, learning to tune into our bodies, helps with emotion regulation, psychological flexibility and general wellbeing. 

Private Health rebates and government Mental Health Care Plans supported. ​Telehealth and in-person sessions available.

Initial sessions are $290. Individual, ongoing appointments start from $250 per session (with a rebate of $92.90 with a mental healthcare plan for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if eligiable).  â€‹
